Monna Rae Morse, 90, of West Fargo, ND, died Saturday February 14, 2026, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Monna Rae Clemetson was born near Howard, SD, on November 16, 1935. She was raised by Rusty and Linda (Schultz) Coppersmith in Huron, SD. She was baptized December 12,1935 at St. John’s Lutheran Church and confirmed June 5, 1949, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Monna graduated in 1954 from Huron High School. She then married Stephen Morse on June 30, 1956. They lived in Bozeman, MT, Plentywood, MT, and Miller, SD. Then in August 1963 they moved to Langdon where they lived the rest of their married life. Stephen passed on July 8, 2005. Monna Rae then moved to Fargo in 2014 and in 2022 moved to Eventide Sheyenne Crossings.
For several decades, Monna Rae worked at the same building in Langdon for various businesses. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Langdon, and Beautiful Savior in Fargo. Monna Rae was part of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years. She attended many local and national American Legion Conventions. She also loved flowers, birdwatching, nature and playing Yahtzee.
Monna Rae is survived by her daughters, Linda (Timothy) Haak, Valley City, ND, and Stephanie (Douglas) Damman, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Taaren Haak and Leah (Andrew) Haak Beck; grand dog, Dakota; and various nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law, Bill Morse; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Talley; nephew, Randolph Morse; and niece Jean Talley Tlustos

Celebration of Life Service: Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2 PM, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.
Burial: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
