Michelle Nelson

Michelle E Nelson of Phoenix, AZ, formerly Leonard ND, passed away on Oct 18, 2024. Michelle was born on Aug. 9, 1979, in Emmen. Netherlands. She lived in Greece until 18 months old before moving back to North Dakota and grew up in Williston and Minot after being diagnosed as hearing impaired at 2 1/2. She moved to Fargo in 1984 and moved to Las Vegas in 2016. She worked for TA in Fargo before transferring to TA in Las Vegas. She loved her trips to the California beaches and the warm weather. She is survived by her parents, Maggie and Leon Heller Jr. and brothers: Leon "Chip" Heller III (AZ), Brad Heller (KY), Chad Heller (ND), Jamie Heller (TX) and Shawn Heller (ND). We will miss her beautiful smile and always love her. 

Memorial Service:  Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1 PM, at West Funeral Home, Casselton, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.
