Michael Scott Lenzmeier

Michael Scott Lenzmeier left this earth peacefully to return to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 2, 2020. Michael was born September 26, 1966 to Frank R. and Elaine (Tabor) Lenzmeier in Breckenridge, MN. At age 3, along with his parents and 4 brothers (Tim, Jeff, Mark and David) he moved to West Fargo, ND. He went to school in West Fargo and his favorite teacher was Mrs. Leidal (kindergarten). His early years were filled with family, school and fun with his brothers and neighborhood friends, climbing trees, swimming in the ditches and lots of other fun things that boys do.

Michael continued to live in the West Fargo, Fargo area throughout his life and was blessed and proud to have 2 sons, Dustin Scott Theurer and Christofer John Theurer. Michael was blessed with a sister, Jerica, who he loved very much.

Michael was an avid fan of going fast, spending several summers riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and several winters riding on Arctic Cat snowmobiles.

Michael was an active member of West Fargo Skydiving for several years and his silver tongue even talked his brother, Mark, into going tandem skydiving with him. In Houston, TX Mike ran a skydiving company, where he talked his sister into jumping from a plane.

Michael learned early in life about operating trucks of all kinds from his father. Most of Michael’s working years were spent over the road truck driving, for others and with his own truck and he was known as being one of the best semi-truck repairmen around.

As the years passed, Michael’s time skydiving, trucking and a bad fall while working caused several back injuries so he went on disability. Some of his favorite activities were hunting, fishing and golfing. Michael could often be found catching some big old fish down at the Red River between Fargo and Moorhead.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his family and his friends for his friendly smile, genuine love in his heart for all and his suave demeanor that captivated all he met.

Michael is survived by his son Dustin (Jessica) Theurer, grandson Blake, granddaughter Emmry, all of Oriska, ND, and son Christofer Theurer, Grand Forks, ND; father Frank Lenzmeier and wife Darla, West Fargo, ND; mother Elaine Frison and husband Joseph, Fargo, ND; brothers Timothy (Jody) Lenzmeier, Windsor, CO, Mark (Mary) Lenzmeier, West Fargo, ND, David (Stacey) Lenzmeier, Moorhead, MN; sister Jerica (Joey) Coleman, West Fargo, ND; step-brothers Tony Frison, Versailles, IN, Jeffrey (Samantha) Frison, McKinney, TX, Gregory Frison, Becker, MN; step-sisters Kimberly Frison, Gibbon, MN, and Trisa Keys, Tower City, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Jeffrey Lenzmeier and step-brother Alan Frison.

A service for Michael will be held at a later date.
