Melva Steinkopf

Melva L. Steinkopf, 76, of West Fargo, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her home. 

Melva Leone Steinkopf was born February 4, 1944, near Lafayette, MN, the daughter of George and Nannie (Gustafson) Melquist.  She was raised there and graduated from the Winthrop, MN high school.  Melva married Duane Steinkopf July 28, 1961, in Lafayette.  She retired as a food service manager of the Fargo Public Schools.  Melva enjoyed sewing and fishing. 

Survivors include her husband:  Duane; children:  Karen Hollerung,  Ronda (Dan) Bahnmiller,  David (Melinda) Steinkopf and Gina Hill;  13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  

Melva was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law:  Dale Hill. 

Memorial Service:  10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the West Funeral Home in West Fargo.

Visitation:  An hour prior.
