Mayone Dalos

Mayone (Ensrud) Dalos, 91, West Fargo, N.D., died on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo with family by her side.

Mayone June Ensrud was born May 16, 1930 in McVille, N.D. to Peter and Ovidia (Burud) Ensrud. She attended grade school near Pekin and graduated from Pekin High School in 1948. Following high school, she graduated from St. Lukes School of Nursing in August 1951. Mayone then married Ingel Dalos on Feb 24, 1952 at Sheyenne Lutheran Church in rural Pekin. They lived in Lisbon, N.D. for 27 years, then moved back to West Fargo in 1988. She was a longtime member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Fargo and a life  member of the VFW Post 7564 Auxiliary in West Fargo.

Mayone is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Bob) Purdon and Linda Schlicht; grandchildren, Matt Purdon, Jeff Purdon and Kyle (Ashlee) Schlicht; great-grandchildren, Taylor , Jaxon and Sky; and a brother, Robert Ensrud.

She was preceded in death by husband Ingel Dalos in 1996; parents Peter and Ovidia Ensrud, Great-grandson, Easton Schlicht and a sister, Lorraine Von Ruden.

Visitation: Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Service: Thursday, March 24, 2022, 10:30 a.m., at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery in Lisbon, N.D. at a later date.
