Maxine Sharratt

Maxine Sharratt, 85, West Fargo, ND, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.  

Maxine was born April 13, 1940, in Rugby, ND, to Ludvig and Eunice Sveum. She married Darvin Sharratt on October 11, 1959, in Rugby.

Maxine enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing cards and seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran church for many years. She also taught Sunday School for 20 + years.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Mike) Stebner, Woodworth, ND; son, Jerome (Jackie) Sharratt, West Fargo, ND; sister, Doris (Don) Rude, Bottineau, ND; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darvin; granddaughter, Jessica; sisters, Lois and Vicki; and an infant brother, Jerome.

Memorial Service: Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10 AM, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with visitation starting at 9:30 AM.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
