Mary M. Loberg

Mary M. Loberg passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2026, at age 81. She was born on October 7, 1944, to Theodore and Lucille Campagna and raised in Fargo, ND. After graduating from Shanley High School in 1963, Mary attended Joseph’s Beauty School in Fargo and began her passion as a beautician.

On May 9, 1964, she married Gary Loberg in Fargo, ND and together they had two children, Mark and Sharon.

She worked for over 30 years as a beautician and managed her own salon business The Honeycomb in West Fargo during 1980s. She loved people, and she continued her passion to take care of others as a CNA for over 10 years up to her retirement.

Mary was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She loved playing bingo and was truly a master of the game. Above all, being loved by Mary was like winning blackout bingo—a rare and special gift. She could always be counted on when someone needed her and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, caring heart, and thoughtful nature.

Mary survived by her beloved husband Gary of 62 years, her two children Mark Loberg, Sharon (Shawn) Stam; her granddaughters, Erica (David) Johnston, Tara Summers, Cheyenne (Tommy) Barlock; and her sisters, Ellie Eng, Patricia Kovacs, Cathy (Tom) Blight, and brother Paul Campagna. Her great grandchildren Michael, Bjorn, Jacob, Audrie, and Samuel. Many nieces, nephews, and so many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunts and uncles; her nieces and nephew; and her brother, Theodore Campagna Jr.

The family extends our heartfelt gratitude to HIA Hospice for their compassionate and loving care during this difficult time.
