Marlyn Moeller

Marlyn Carolyn Moeller passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at home, surrounded by family and friends, under HIA Hospice care.

   Marlyn Carolyn Moeller was born July 26, 1936, in rural Hankinson, ND to Wilbur and Carolyn (Fischer) Strege. Marlyn married Wilbert “Web” Moeller on December 7, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Claire City, SD.  Web and Marlyn and family moved to Fargo in 1970 when Web retired from the Air Force.

   Marlyn was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church. Marlyn enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: gardening, birds, reading, playing dummy rummy and those Minnesota Twins. Visits with family and friends made Marlyn’s heart happy.

   Marlyn is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Fred) Strege and their children Sara (Jared) Helgeson; Laura (Ben) Jacobs and their daughter, Ari; and Angie (Jamie) Coppin and their daughters Liana, Lucy and Lanie; her sons David Moeller and his children Josh and Alia (Matthew) Fischer, and her daughter Charlie; Michael (Mary) Moeller and their children Jesse, Douglas and Bonnie (Thomas) Kosten and their son Gus; her granddaughters Jenny (Steve) Welk and their children Megan and Matt; and Katie (Kirk) Davis; and many much loved nieces and nephews.

   Marlyn is also survived by what she referred to as her 2nd family: Wendy Jo (Terry Buhr) Royal; Paul (Beth) Honl and Jim (Susan) Honl.

   Marlyn was preceded in death by her husband Web, parents Carolyn (Fischer) and Wilbur Strege; sister, Janice Honl, brother-in-law, Harold (Butch) Honl; twin brother, Myron Strege, sister-in-law, Carol Strege, daughter Debra Landphere and special friend, Arnold (Snooks) Brummund.

Visitation: One hour prior to service.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND
