Marlene Hermanson, 74, Casselton, ND died on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Sanford Health on Broadway in Fargo, ND.

Marlene Anderson was born June 16, 1946 in Enderlin, ND to Martin and Tillie (Stern) Anderson. She attended school in Enderlin. On June 28, 1985, she married Dwight Hermanson at Ravenna, NE. They lived in Oklahoma, Montana, Nebraska and Idaho before settling in Casselton. She started working at the Red Baron in Casselton in 1996 where she worked until her retirement. Marlene especially loved her grandchildren and her kitten.

Marlene is survived by a son, Shane (Katie) of Casselton; three grandchildren, Gage, Wyatt and Andrew; and a sister, Darlene Hartson of Moorhead, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight; daughter, Michelle Marcks and half-sisters, Esther Fraase and Delores Hamilton.

Visitation: Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 3 to 5 PM at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Burial: Milnor (ND) Lutheran Cemetery.
