Mark Roach

     Mark Roach, 60, died Thursday, July 30, 2020, at his home in Moorhead, MN. 

   Mark Duane Roach was born September 26, 1959, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Morley and Evelyn (Shervey) Roach.  He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1978, then attended vocational school in Staples, MN, graduating as a diesel mechanic.  Mark enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served his country for 14 years.  His tours of duty included Okinawa,  Japan, California, North Carolina and also on a ship for support in Lebanon.  Following discharge from the Marines, Mark was employed by Caterpillar in Fargo for a number of years and later working various jobs until his health forced him to retire in February of this year.  He married Denise Candy Leak on May 1, 1999. 

   Surviving are his wife:  Denise; step-son:  Tony (Kathy) Leak; sisters and brother-in-law: Leslie (Richard) Witte and Rose Marie Roach. 

   He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Services will be private 

   Burial:  Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
