Marion Nedrebo

Marion Lou (Eggert) Nedrebo, 93, West Fargo, ND passed away on Monday October 27, 2025 at Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND.

Marion Eggert was born April 06, 1932 in Fargo, ND to Walter and Bertha Eggert. She grew up on the family farm west of Argusville, ND she attended school at Argusville and graduated as Class Valedictorian. After graduation she attended Dakota Business School in Fargo. Marion married Clayton Larsen Nedrebo on October 13, 1951, in Fargo, ND. They made their home on the family farm where she grew up. Together they raised five children, ran the farm and Nedrebo Backhoe Service. Upon retirement Marion and Clayton moved from the farm into Fargo, ND and then to Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND.

She loved spending time with family and friends, dancing, playing the piano, she was an active member of Argusville UCC Church as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Vacation Bible School teacher, a member of both the Mission Circle and Ladies Aide. Marion also co-owned A Piece of Cake in Fargo with her lifelong friend Mildred Walkinshaw.

Marion is survived by her husband of 74 years Clayton Nedrebo; daughter, Renee Iwen-Immer, Moorhead, MN; daughter, Beth (Gene) Utecht, Mesa, AZ; son, Todd (Kristie) Nedrebo, Georgetown, MN; daughter, Tami (Shane) Lebahn, West Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law,  Valerie Nedrebo, Fargo; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sister, Eleanor (Eggert) Hanson; brother-in-law, Kermit (Shirley) Nedrebo; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bertha (Brown) Eggert; son, Dennis Nedrebo; sister, Irene (Eggert) Walkinshaw; brothers-in-law, Everett Walkinshaw and Russell Hanson; along with Clayton’s parents, Bennie and Jenny Nedrebo and siblings, Morris (Marlys), Beverly (Lloyd) Levin and Joanie (Douglas) Jurgensen.

Special thanks to the staff at Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND for the care and love for Marion. Marion will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

Funeral: Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior. (The service will be recorded and can be viewed on the funeral home website)

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests donations to be made to HIA Hospice and/or Sheyenne Crossings.
