Madison Hansen

Madison Christine Hansen, 27, went to be with her Lord on September 2, 2023. Before her passing Madison fought daily and hard against a disease many of us will never understand.

Madison was born on September 13, 1995, in Fargo, ND to Todd and Wendy Hansen of West Fargo ND.

She is survived by her parents and sister Molly Hansen (Calvin Riggs) West Fargo, Grandparents Barb Grossman of West Fargo, Pam Claspill of Mesa AZ and Oscar Claspill of St. Michael MN, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was proceeded in death by Grandfathers Fred Hansen and Paul Grossman.

Madison was a brave, loving, fearless and beautiful young lady.  Madison was very passionate when it came to caring for others and her family, she touched the life of every person she met.  Madison loved all of her daycare “babies”, loved spending time at the lake with family and friends and anything involved with seeing her favorite kiddos.  She lived a life that was all her own.  For the past 7 years, Madison struggled with an alcohol addiction, depression and anxiety, the demons were just too much.

Madison had a passion for dance and was very happy and proud when she made the West Fargo Packatahnas dance team.  Many friends and great memories were made. 

While she was not strong enough to overcome her addiction, she proved to be a fighter and fearless for the years she was struggling on her own.   She will always be loved and missed by those who knew her and that bright beautiful smile.

Funeral services: 1:00pm Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Community Presbyterian Church in  West Fargo.

 Visitation: 5 to 6:30pm  followed by a 6:30pm Time of Sharing on Tuesday September  12, 2023, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.
