Lyle D. Roesler

Lyle D. Roesler, 82, West Fargo, ND, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 24th, 2025.

Lyle was born on June 2nd,1942 to Delphin Roesler and Ada Roesler (Anderson) in Fargo, ND. 

Lyle grew up in Lenord, ND where he lived with his parents and siblings. He loved working on the farm. Lyle spent his time with the love of his life and lifelong companion, JoAnn Larson. He enjoyed spending time with JoAnn’s family and was a loving grandfather figure to her grandchildren. In his spare time, Lyle could be found in his garage building wood benches among other woodworks. He also enjoyed spending time with friends in the local community.

He is survived by Theresa Larson, Emily Larson, Ben Larson, Fargo ND; Mark and Lisa Larson, Lake Havasu, Arizona; Jaden and Steph Schafer, Bismarck, ND; Chad and Laura Fleckenstein, Hannover, ND; Cody and Madison Fleckenstein, Towner, ND. Lyle is further survived by his brothers, Gene Roesler, Gary (Chris) Roesler, Kent (Deb) Roesler, his nieces and nephews.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Delphin and Ada Roesler, life companion, JoAnn Larson; Jeff and Jim Larson; siblings Wayne Roesler, Robert Roesler, LaVonne Schossow; infant sisters Ada and Ruth. In lieu of flowers, please have memorials sent to Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center or the Sanford Hospice House.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
