Lucille Lindemann

Lucille Lindemann, 72, Dent, MN, formerly Fargo, ND, passed way on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 at Lilac Homes in Dilworth, MN with Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Lucille Eleanor Haider was born Oct. 19, 1952 at Mahnomen, MN to Mathias and Amy (Voit) Haider. She grew up on the family farm near Mahnomen and graduated from high school there. She attended Joseph’s School of Hair Design in Fargo. Lucy married Gene Lindemann on Oct. 19, 1972 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Fargo, ND. They lived in the West Fargo and Fargo area. Lucy worked as a hairdresser in local shops, nursing homes, funeral homes and at the Cass County Jail. She was always on the go and was beloved by her many loyal clients for nearly 50 years.

Lucy had the gift of gab and was full of colorful jokes. She loved family gatherings, playing cards and BINGO. She had a special bond with her sister, Shirley Ackerman. She also enjoyed 40 years at Star Lake near Dent, MN where her and Gene had moved to permanently. Lucy was also a faithful member of her church.

Lucy had developed Lewy Body Dementia, and this failing health brought her to Lilac Homes in Dilworth, MN the last short three years where she was loving cared for. Sadly, this challenge stopped her short of her goal of being a hairdresser for 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; son, Brad (Jennifer) and their children, Noah Bolgrean and Laura Bolgrean (Anthony Lorenzetti); brother, Gene Haider; brother-in-law, Gary Lindemann; and several nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley (Kenneth) Ackerman and Lois (Duane) Pazdernik; sisters-in-law, Marci Haider and Evonne Lindemann.

Visitation: Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 AM at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
