Lori Holte

Lori Ann Holte, 52, of West Fargo, passed away on July 17, 2026, at Sanford Medical Hospital in Fargo, ND from a prolonged illness and was surrounded by family. Lori was born to Russ and Becky Holte on June 6th, 1974, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in West Fargo, attended school and later graduated from West Fargo High School. Following that, Lori attended NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND and later worked at various nursing/group homes and the Dakota Boys Ranch.

Lori enjoyed spending time with family, going on family trips, and had a great love for her cats, Zoey and Shady. Lori loved life, had a positive outlook, would do anything to help someone and was an avid collector of frogs, rings, and carousels.

Lori is survived by her parents, Russ and Becky Holte; sister, Lisa (Kirk) Odden; niece, Hailey Odden; nephew, Hunter Odden; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Lillian Gjerswold, Harold and Virgil Holte; uncles, Robert Gjerswold, Art Passa, Greg and Craig Holte; aunt, Merry Smith; and cousin, JJ Passa.

Memorial Service: Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11 AM, at Faith Journey Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial: Will be held at a later date.
