Linda Gjerdevig Lee

Linda Lee, 73, of Fargo, passed away on February 11, 2026 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Linda Paulette Gjerdevig was born May 20, 1952, to Ernest and Rose (Amoth) Gjerdevig. She was the second of five children. She grew up in Carrington, ND. Linda was a part of the cheer team and graduated from Carrington High School in 1970. She later attended classes at Wahpeton School of Science.

Linda married Timothy Brakke in 1977, later divorcing. They shared a daughter, Alanna. In 1990, she married William Lee, later divorcing. They shared a son, Tanner.

Throughout her adult life, she lived in New York City, Aneta, ND, Peoria, IL, Twin Cities Metro Area, New Town, PA, Wadsworth, OH and Fargo, ND. She was an excellent salesperson, earning promotions in the various industries she worked in. She retired as an employee of Squibb Pharmaceuticals.

Linda enjoyed life! She was always good for a laugh. She enjoyed card making, floral arranging and all sorts of crafts. When her body was able, she enjoyed going out for coffee and could be found meeting friends or family almost every day of the week. Linda loved her Lord and her church. She was a people person, and nobody was a stranger to her for long. In fact, she literally once gave a stranger the coat off her back.

She was especially fond of her children, Alanna and Tanner. She enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren, Kordiea, Charlie, Julia and Miles and her grand dog, Daisy. Her home was decorated with their drawings, and she looked forward to their visits.

She is survived by her daughter, Alanna (Michael) Rerick of West Fargo, ND, and son, Tanner (fiancée, Geraldin) Lee of Fargo, ND; siblings, Faye Schaubert, Les Gjerdevig, Roxanne Fougner and David Gjerdevig; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Rose Gjerdevig.

Celebration of Life Service:   Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11 AM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial:  Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
