Larry Kitzman, 71, of Fargo, passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Maryhill Manor in Enderlin, ND.
Lawrence Edward Kitzman was born July 23, 1950, in Elmhurst, IL, the son of H. William and Dorothy (Kabbe) Kitzman. His early years were spent in Franklin Park, IL, until the family moved to a farm near Sawyer, ND, where he enjoyed farm life and pitching for the baseball team. The family then moved to Fargo when he was 13. Larry graduated from Fargo North High School in 1968. After graduation Larry specialized in janitorial work for most of his working years for various companies.
He enjoyed golfing, playing catch, kicking footballs as long as he was physically able to do so.
Larry started attending Changing Lives Tabernacle in West Fargo, where he was well liked and often gave rides for others wanting to go to the services.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his brothers: William “Bill” (Rachel) Kitzman of West Fargo and Steve (Marvelene) Kitzman of Fargo; nephews and nieces: LaRae Kitzman, Ward (Becky) Kitzman, Josh Kitzman, Jon (Erin) Kitzman and, Stephanie Kitzman; grand-niece: Sydney Rindahl and grand-nephew: Oliver Kitzman.
Funeral 7p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Changing Lives Tabernacle in West Fargo.
Visitation: Thursday from 6 to 7 pm in the church
Interment: 10 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Fargo.
