Larry D. Jacobson was born on November 20, 1959, in Fargo ND to Rev. Reuben and Kathy Jacobson. He had 5 siblings Belinda (Bert) Ready, David (Laurel) Jacobson, Steven (Ruth) Jacobson, Stewart (Susan) Jacobson, and Michael (Jennifer) Jacobson.
Larry Joined the Army National Guard at the age of 17 in Mayville ND. He graduated in Hatton ND and joined the navy. Between the Navy, and the Army Larry served for 34 years, eventually retiring in 2015. Larry worked with the boyscouts helping different troops. He would help with the various day camps as well as taking groups to boyscout camps. Larry enjoyed Tabletop games and collected Monopoly games. He loved taking anyone camping and teaching the next generation what to do.
On May 4, 1984, Larry was united in marriage to Angie (Hawkins) Jacobson in Park River ND. They later settled in West Fargo. Larry and Angie continued to be blessed with 4 children, Mara (Ryan) Dvorak-Fargo ND, Amanda (Casey) Jacobson-Fargo ND, Larry (Nicole) Jacobson Jr- West Fargo ND, and Reuben (Sky) Jacobson- Macon GA, two grandchildren- Ganon Dvorak and Adora Jacobson.
He was preceded in death by his father Rev. Reuben Jacobson, his mother Kathy Jacobson, his brother David Jacobson, his sister-in-law Laurel Jacobson, his nephew Eric Jacobson, and his wife Angie Jacobson.

Visitation: Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. with prayer service at 7 p.m. at West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center, West Fargo, ND.
Service: Friday, December 3, 2021, 11 a.m. at Atonement Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
Interment: Friday, December 3, 2021, 1 p.m. at Fargo National Cemetery
