Kurt Jorgensen, 68, Hunter, ND died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Sanford Hospice in Fargo.
Kurt Darrell Jorgensen was born July 12th, 1954 in Fargo, ND to John and Joyce (Dickson) Jorgensen. He grew up in Hunter, ND and resided there most of his life. Kurt graduated from Dakota High School in 1972 and later Wahpeton State College of Science. In 1981, Kurt married Nola Stibbe. They raised two children Jenna and Johnny. Kurt operated Jorgensen Oil and Jorgensen Hardware for most of his working years. Kurt loved his family dearly and always had a passion of cars, especially, Corvette's.
His loving family includes his two children, Jenna (Scott) Kyser, Grandin, ND and Johnny (Taylor) Jorgensen, Hunter, ND; four grandchildren, Audrey and Emma Kyser and Sutton and Stella Jorgensen; sister-in-law, Patricia Jorgensen. Kurt was also a proud uncle to Scott, Tia and Cathey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Jorgensen and brother, David Jorgensen.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 3 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Hunter with visitation one hour prior.
Final Resting Place: Hunter Cemetery.
