Kenneth "Kenny" Schossow

        Kenneth Carl Schossow, 73, of West Fargo, passed away, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at The Meadows in Fargo. 

     Kenny was born on January 9, 1948, in Fargo, ND to James and Johanna (Klundt) Schossow.  He grew up in Sheldon and Fargo, ND and graduated from Central High School in Fargo.  Kenny also graduated from Moorhead State University. 

      On January 4, 1992, he married Karen Geske-Stensrud in Fargo and resided in West Fargo.  Kenny worked for the Salvation Army in the business administration department from 1991 to 2003 and was employed in mail production at Sanford Health from 2003 to 2014 when he retired.  

     He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing. Kenny was inducted into the Mid America Music Hall of Fame in 2008. 

   Surviving:  wife:  Karen of West Fargo;  brother:  Tyrone Schossow of San Antonio, TX and a sister:  Marilyn Wahlgren of Fargo. 

   Kenny was preceded in death by his father:  James;  mother:  Johanna and a sister:  Julie. 

Memorial Service:  2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Liberty Lutheran Brethren Church in Fargo.

Visitation:  An hour prior

Burial:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
