Kenneth "Kenny" Buchwitz

   Kenneth “Kenny” Buchwitz, 74, of West Fargo, formerly of Grand Forks, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center, in Fargo.

   Kenneth Dean Buchwitz was born July 28, 1951, in Harvey, ND, to Ervin and Darlene (Wagner) Buchwitz. He grew up in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1969.

   He then moved to Grand Forks, ND, where he spent nearly the rest of his life. He worked for over 30 years for Dakota Supply Group (DSG).

   Kenny enjoyed duck and goose hunting, watching dirt track racing, and collecting model cars.

   He was one of the kindest hearts you would ever meet.

   He is survived by two granddaughters, Kylie Roerick & Alicia (Austin) Kvalevog; four great-grandchildren, Kayson Dwyer, Kash Dwyer, Easton Kvalevog, and Teagan Kvalevog; two siblings, Pam Kraft & Ron (Vicky) Buchwitz; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steve Roerick; a brother Larry (Jackie) Buchwitz; and a nephew, Josh Buchwitz.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Disabled American Veterans, the VFW, or the Alzheimer’s Association.

   Memorial Service: Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
