Kenneth “Ken” Paisley, 61, of West Fargo, ND passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Sanford Health in Fargo.
Ken was born March 15, 1961, in LaCrosse, WI, the son of Raymond and LaVonne (Freng) Paisley. At the age of nine, the family moved to Wheaton, IL where he graduated from high school in 1979. Trucking became his passion during high school and continued throughout his life, following in his father’s footsteps. Ken moved to Minot in 1985 for a job as terminal manager with Lewis Transportation. On his birthday of 1985, Kent Swanson, a later brother-in-law, introduced him to Laurie Dahl. Ken married the love of his life and best friend, Laurie, on April 12, 1986. The couple moved to Moorhead in 1986 and later to West Fargo in 1990. Ken continued with Lewis Transportation as operations manager until 2006. He was then employed with LME Trucking until retiring in 2019.
Ken loved time spent with family and serving others by always being available; he’d never say no to a project or learning something new. Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and labs throughout the years. Ken also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and was able to see a game at Lambeau this past season, with his family.
