Keith Pribbenow

Keith Pribbenow, 68, of Horace, ND, died Friday, February 5, 2021, at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND.

Keith Stephen Pribbenow was born November 21, 1952, in Lisbon, ND, the son of Robert and Lorraine (Wolf) Pribbenow.  He was raised and educated in Enderlin, ND.  In 1972, Keith attended Hanson Mechanical Trade School in Fargo and in 1975 began a 43-year career as a welder then a machinist for Steiger Tractor/CNH (Case New Holland) in Fargo, retiring in May of 2018.  Keith and Karen (Luther) were married December 31, 1975, in Fargo.  They lived in Fargo until 1983, when they built a home in Horace, ND and have since lived there.

Keith’s uncle and aunt, Duane and Florence Pribbenow, along with their children DuAnne, Buffy, Roxanne, and Chad were special people in his life and their relationships shaped him into the giving and special person he was.  Keith was a jack-of-all-trades, whether it was auto repair, carpenter work or any special projects.  He was always willing to help someone out.  He loved tinkering, taking things apart, seeing how they worked and putting them back together; especially anything with a motor.

Fishing, camping, gardening and riding his motorcycle were some of his favorite leisure activities.  He certainly will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Left to share in his memory:   wife, Karen;  mother,  Lorraine Olson of Fargo; sister, Naomi (Al) Hall of West Fargo;  brothers,  Warren (Kathy) Pribbenow of Horace, Glynn (Ginella) Pribbenow of Rockwell, TX and Gene (Deborah) Pribbenow of Colorado Springs, CO; half-brother, Sandy (Petra) Olson of Moorhead, MN; brothers-in-law,  Gary (Denise) Luther and Danny (Vicki) Luther of Casselton;  sisters-in-law, Carla Luther, Fall City, WA, Holly (Rodney) Gapp of Fargo and Tracy (Kent) Peterson of Bismarck. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Glee Luther, a brother-in-law, Rodney Luther and cousin, Chad Pribbenow.

Service:  2 p.m.  Saturday, March 20, 2021, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo. 

Visitation:  An hour before the service.

Honorary Urn Bearers:  Duane Pribbenow, Kenneth Borg, and Landis Larson.
