Keiarra Marsh

Our “Mother Hen” Keiarra Marsh passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023 at the age of 14.

Keiarra Rose "Kiki" was born Aug. 5, 2009 in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Jonathan and Justina Marsh. She grew up near Alice, ND and attended school in Enderlin. Keiarra was extremely excited to start 8th grade.

In her short 14 years, Keiarra's kindness touched many lives. She was a compassionate creative soul who always saw the good in others. She had a heart of gold and was wise beyond her years.  She adored her family, kept her siblings in line, and whole heartily loved her friends.  She was a natural beauty with a vibrant smile, quirky attitude, and a contagious laugh. She was an animal lover who was wise beyond her years.  She was a strong fighter and an amazing pickle jar opener.  Keiarra loved staying active. Some of her passions involved singing in choir, playing softball, volleyball, basketball, golf, track, archery, and trap shooting. She also enjoyed dancing and was a “thrift store/clearance-rack fashionista.” Her love of the outdoors was shown in hunting, fishing, camping, going to the lake, and ranger riding. She will be deeply missed by her family and the greater community.

Keiarra leaves her loving family – parents, Jonathan and Justina; siblings, Domanic “Dom” and McKenna “Mac”; grandparents, Billinda and Mitchell Lemnus, Chris and Kimberlie Heinz, Karen and Roland Priewe, David and Randi Marsh; great grandparents, Shirley Vance, Marilyn Patten and Mary Burgard; aunts & uncles, LaTeasa (Andrew) Maley, Michael (Kallie) Marsh, Kasie (Tyler) Ptacnik , Daniel Ptacnik, Ashley Heinz, Josh (Sandra) Heinz , Mindy Heinz; and many, many cousins.

She was preceded in death by great grandparents, John Burgard, Jerry Vance, Harold Patten and Foster Heinz.

Visitation: Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 from 5 to 7:30 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at the Enderlin Public School Gymnasium.

Funeral: Saturday, Aug. 26 at 10:30 AM at the Enderlin Public School Gymnasium with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Alice Community Cemetery.
