Kathryn Harrom

In Loving Memory of Kathryn Dee Harrom,  November 28, 1950 - July 28th, 2025.  Kathi, 74, of Barnesville, MN, passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of Essentia Health surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on November 28, 1950, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Ralph and Edna Hanson. A graduate of West Fargo High School, Class of 1968, she lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and deep devotion to her family. She married William Elias Hildebrant, and together they raised four beautiful daughters. Their shared passion for community led to the founding of the FM Farmers Market in West Fargo, now Hildebrant Farm. Later in life, she found love again and built a beautiful life with her husband, Mark Jon Harrom. She spent many dedicated years working at RDO, where she eventually retired. Outside of work, her joy came from simple pleasures, baking for those she loved, tending to her garden, playing pool, and scratching off lottery tickets with hopeful excitement. She cherished sunny days, quiet moments with her books, and listening to her favorite oldies. Her three beloved dogs were her constant companions and a true part of the family. Above all, she was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her unconditional love, laughter, and resilience will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

She is survived by her siblings:  Gloria Overboe (Tom),  Peggy Tessin (Larry), and Rex Hanson (Carol); sisters in law:  Ila Kilen (Ron), Rita Hildebrant, Julie Lambertz (Jerry); husband:  Mark Harrom; Kathi’s children Trina Kalm (Todd), Toni Erdmann (James), Tara Hildebrant (Jason), Tanya Reinke (Troy), Mike Harrom (Melanie), Tony Harrom  (Kailyn Clark), and Molly Harrom; 24 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, with another expected in December. Her love lives on in each of them.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Ralph and Edna Hanson; her brother in law John Hildebrant; her great niece Megan Figueroa.

Celebration of Life:  2 pm Sunday, August 3, 2025, at West Funeral Home in West Fargo.

Visitation:  an hour before the service.

Interment:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND
