Kaitlin Gebeke

Our personal gift wrapper and gift giver, Kaitlin Brooke Gebeke, left her earthly home on August 25, 2021. Her beautiful soul was born Sept. 25, 1993 in Fargo, ND to Paul and Annette (Davis) Gebeke. She graduated from West Fargo High School. Katie was creative and funny and full of big dreams. Her generous spirit was infectious. She loved animals especially her dogs Belle and Daisy and cats Cherry and Olive. Katie was gifted with an uncanny ability for style and decorating, creative writing, and singing. Her love for music was inspired by her vocal coach and friend, Rachel Barrett. She had a passion for nature and visits to Itasca State Park. She also enjoyed her time as a teaching assistant at the Montessori School in Fargo and was very proud of being an honor student at NDSCS.

Katie was a beautiful daughter, best big sister, and loving granddaughter who had a special bond with her great grandma Iny. She will be missed by many. 

Katie is survived by her parents, Paul and Annette; sister, Rebecca and partner Kamiryn; grandparents, Kristi Gebeke, Jeanne Goerger, Embert Davis and Donna McCauley; aunts and uncles, Sean (Stacy) Gebeke and children – Sam, Larry & Goldie, Melanie (Philip) Stahl and children – Megan, Lilia & Gabriel, Tana Davis (Terry Grieger) and her daughter, Emma, Janelle Davis, Galen (Kindra) Davis and children  – Ashton, Avvin, Sophie & Suri, Brenda Davis and Chris Slusher.

She was preceded in death by great grandma Ione (Iny), great grandma Mary and grandpa Larry.

Memorial Service:  Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021 at 10:30 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior.
