June Henning

June Henning, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in hospice care, surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer.

June was born on June 1, 1942 in Veblen,South Dakota. She built a home alongside her husband, James, where they raised their four children until his passing in 1979.

June enjoyed doing puzzles, a good game of Scrabble and sharing a Jack Daniel’s & Coke with family and friends.

She is survived by her sister Phyllis Hagen, her children: Laurie Wegleitner (Herman), Linda Anderson(Al), Layne Henning (Dee Dee) and Lance Henning (Nicole), her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends who will all miss her deeply.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, and her sister, Marcy.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
