Jill Ann Flack, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 28th, 2025. She was born on November 23, 1986, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to Scott and Lucy Wagner. In her life she lived in East Grand Forks Minnesota, Harrisburg South Dakota, Casselton North Dakota, Nashville Tennessee, and Chicago Illinois.
Jill grew up with a vibrant spirit that touched everyone who knew her. She graduated from Central Cass High School in 2005 and went on to study at Moorhead State University and Studied abroad in the Virgin Islands.
Throughout her life, Jill explored many paths, but her true essence shone brightest through her creativity. She was a gifted artist, dancer, and writer who poured passion into everything she did. Jill found joy in life’s little treasures—whether attending live music and theater, sharing laughter with friends, or adding to the endless collection of inside jokes she kept with those closest to her. She will be remembered for her fierce independence, quick wit, and unshakable loyalty to her family.
Jill’s memory will be forever cherished by her parents, Scott and Lucy Wagner; Grandmother Orma Fieber; her brothers, Sam and Alan (Karli); her niece, Molly; and her nephews, Simon and Sonny. She had too many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were as close to family as possible to name properly in this short of space that will miss her. She was preceded in death by her Grandfathers Albert Wagner and Don Fieber, and her Grandmother Violet Wagner. Her presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

“She tried to fancy what the flame of a candle is like after the candle is blown out, for she could not remember ever having seen such a thing.”
