Janice Grossnickle

Janice Marie (Olson) Grossnickle, 73, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 with her family by her side.

Janice was born August 2, 1952, to Howard and Anne Olson. She grew up in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South High in 1970. Not long after, she met and married Charles Grossnickle. Together, they made their home in West Fargo with their 4 children, Shaun Sr., Alissa, Robin, and Andy who were her proudest achievements. She has 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who filled her later years with love and purpose.

Outside of work, she enjoyed a “Good” coffee, reading, coloring, puzzles, and outings filled with good food and music. She also had a passion for baking and her legendary “No Bake” cookies, which were a favorite by all. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and the heart of every gathering. She was known for her strength, warmth and unwavering love for others.

Janice is survived by her three children, Shaun Sr. (Lolly), Alissa, and Robin, all of West Fargo; grandchildren, Ariel, Kiara, Shaun Jr. (Emma), Quinton, Devon, Zoe, Keegan and Andy; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends who will forever miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anne Olson; husband, Charles Grossnickle; son, Andrew Grossnickle and brother, Odell Olson.

Funeral:   Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11 AM, at Bethlehem Church, Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial:   Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
