Jamie Leigh Roush

With heavy hearts, the family of Jamie  Leigh (Rott) Roush announced the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, and sister on October 11, 2024. A new bright star now twinkles in the sky, reminding us of her radiant spirit. Jamie was born on March 8, 1988, in Fargo, ND. She left us too soon, succumbing to a severe asthma attack at home and passing away at Sanford Hospital.

Jamie's journey through life was marked by her vibrant personality and her deep love for her family and friends. She attended West Fargo High School and briefly studied at Rasmussen College. Jamie's greatest pride and joy were her children, Talan, Alexis, and Shay. She loved them immensely and was incredibly proud of each of them. In 2013, Jamie married Mike Roush.

Known for her playful spirit, Jamie was a prankster with a great sense of humor, always ready to play jokes and bring smiles to those around her. Jamie had a heart full of compassion, always wanting to save and fix people and animals. Despite her struggles, she remained a beacon of love and kindness to many. After years of fighting her own demons, Jamie is now at peace. Her legacy continues as she gave the gift of life through organ donation, allowing her spirit to live on through others.

Jamie was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her beautiful children, Talan, Alexis, and Shay Peterson of West Fargo, ND; her loving parents, Cliff and Vicky Rott of West Fargo, ND; her sisters, Christi (Joe) Jastram of West Fargo, and  Sarah Bauman of Eugene, OR; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will cherish her memory.

Memorials are welcome in honor of her children, Talan, Alexis, and Shay, to support them as they navigate this difficult time.

Memorial Service: Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 2 PM, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.
