James Schneekloth

James Schneekloth of Fargo, ND passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the age of 73.

   Jim was born November 8, 1951 to Albert and Berniece Schneekloth of Tower City, ND. He graduated from Tower City High School in 1969 and enlisted in the army shortly after graduation. He spent two years in Germany where he met and married Elizabeth Siller. They moved back to the Buffalo area and farmed and raised sheep. Elizabeth and Jim enjoyed dancing and getting together with family and friends. They had two sons, Curtis and Eric.

   A few years later, they returned to live in Germany. Jim’s family enjoyed visiting them and touring the countryside. Jim spent most of his later life living in Minnesota, North Dakota and Virginia.

   He is survived by his sons, Curtis and Eric of Germany; grandchildren, Christian and Anna; three sisters, Jane Pierce, Fargo, ND, Carol (James) Bistodeau, Blaine, MN, and Joanne (Mark) Johnson, Buffalo, ND; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Berniece Schneekloth, Tower City, ND, brother-in-law Robert Pierce, Buffalo, ND, nephew Barrett Johnson, Buffalo, ND, and sister, Barbara.

Service: Graveside service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Buffalo Cemetery with lunch and visitation following at the Community Center in Buffalo, ND.
