Harold Malzahn Obituary

Harold C. Malzahn, 79, of Fargo, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 , at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Harold Carl Malzahn was born August 3, 1941, in Fargo ND, the son of Carl and Hazel (Berg) Malzahn.  He was raised on a farm near Argusville, ND and graduated from Argusville High School.  Harold and Gina Hegseth were married March 8, 1964 at Viking Lutheran Church in Richland County. They lived in the West Fargo/Fargo areas. 

Harold spent much of his life doing maintenance and cleaning work.  He enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with Gina the love of his life, their cats, and all family and friends.

Surviving is his children:  Doug (Barb) Malzahn of Fargo,  Dennis (Susan) Malzahn of Wichita, KS and Dean (Sandra) Malzahn of Devils Lake, ND; grandchildren  Tesia (Garret) Miller,  Kyra (Austin) Tillotson,  Braiton Malzahn,  Drae Malzahn,  Samantha Essen, Shannon Laney, Jacob Solem and Joshua Solem;  great-grandchildren  Jordan & Reese Hopp; two siblings, Robert Malzahn of Argusville and Susan (Sherman) Howard of Park Rapids, MN; and  several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife Gina, who died February 3, 2018, and his parents.


Graveside Service:   Will be held Spring 2021 in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fargo.
