Faye Jones

Faye Ione Buchholz (Oster) Jones passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the University of Colorado Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.

Faye Ione Buchholz was born on July 4, 1940, to Winnifred and William Buchholz. She was raised in Embden, ND and graduated from Enderlin High School. She moved to Fargo and attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. Faye married Rex Oster in 1969 and later divorced in 1990. She was employed at Fargo Glass and Paint for 43 years and retired in 2004. Faye married Jim Jones in 2004 and moved to Loveland, CO where they resided until her passing. Faye loved getting together with family and friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; 2 stepdaughters, 5 step Grandchildren, 10 step Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild along with 7 Godchildren and many cousins.

Though Faye is no longer with us, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. The family kindly requests that memorials be directed to a favorite charity in Faye’s memory.

Memorial Service: Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1 PM, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial:  Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 3:15 PM, at St. John Cemetery, Embden, ND.
