Eunice Anderson

Eunice I. Anderson ,91, of Fargo, formally of the Sheldon and Leonard area went to meet her Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Bethany Homes on University.

Eunice Broberg was born June 1st 1933 on a farm near Kindred, ND to August and Norma (Andersen) Broberg.  She was baptized and confirmed at the Helendale Lutheran Church near Leonard.  After graduating from Leonard High School she was employed by Eldon to care for his 3 daughters.

Eldon and Eunice were married December 31, 1952.  They lived on the farm near Sheldon and raised their family until Eldon retired, then moved to Leonard, ND.  After Eldon passed away in 2001 Eunice moved to West Fargo.

Eunice loved to spend time with her children and their families.  She loved angels and cardinals, cooking/baking for family and will always be remembered for the best rommegrot at Christmas time.  She loved the Lord, prayed lots, played the organ by ear and bragged how she couldn’t read a single note.

Eunice is survived by her daughters Betty (Arlyn) Strand, of Nome, ND and Donna (Al) Armbrust, of Larimore, ND, sons Larry (Pam) Anderson, of West Fargo, ND and Randy (Patty) Anderson, of Embden, ND, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Eunice was preceded in death her parents, husband Eldon, daughter Phyllis Thompson, son Brian Anderson, daughter in law Dorinda Anderson, grandson Brent Strand, along with 3 sisters: Helen Vanderwerff, Florence Anderson and Agnes Anderson.

Visitation: Monday, September 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Helendale Lutheran Church, rural Leonard, ND.

Funeral: Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Helendale Lutheran Church, rural Leonard, ND.

Burial: Monday, September 9, 2024 at Helendale Cemetery following the service.
