Eric Lee

Eric J. Lee, 51, Vadnais Heights, MN passed away on October 29, 2025.

Eric James Lee was born November 6, 1973 in Grand Forks, ND to Terry and Nancy (Bartunek) Lee. He graduated from West Fargo High School in 1992.  Eric continued his schooling at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN and graduated there from the Carlson School of Management. He worked as a business consultant in the Minneapolis area. He also received a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

He loved his Doberman dogs and followed the U of M Hockey and MN Wild Hockey teams. He enjoyed reading, puzzles, computers and watching cardinals from his living room window.

Eric is survived by three children; his father, Terry Lee of West Fargo; two sisters, Kristi Smith of Fargo and Sherri (Ryan) Anderson of Harwood, ND; four nieces and nephews, Justin and Jayda Smith, Brooklyn and McKenna Anderson; aunts and uncles, Clifford and Joanne Lee of Luray, VA, Charlie and Peggy Lee of Burmingham, IA, Marilyn Sabe of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Beverly Schons of Fargo and Vicki and Steve Renner of Des Moines, IA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy.

Memorial Service: Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior (the family requests attendees to wear their favorite hockey or sports team gear to the service as a way to honor Eric).

Final Resting Place: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
