Ellen Roux

Ellen Louise Roux, 72, of Erskine, MN, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Sanford on Broadway in Fargo. 

Ellen was born October 15, 1952, in Miami, Florida, the daughter of Paul and Sadie (Rindahl) Roux.  She attened school in McIntosh, MN and trained as a beautician and owned and operated a Merle Norman Beauty Salon in Crookston, MN for a number of years.  She went on to work as a nurses aide in a Crookston nursing home and later in life worked for her long time friend, Mike Moran, at Moran’s Supper Club in Winger, MN.  Her greatest achievement in life was her capacity for kindness and helping others. 

Ellen is survived by her children,   son:   Jonathan Roux of Portsmouth, VA;  daughters:  Theresa Lesline (Dustin) of Sioux City, Iowa and Laura Lauster (Mack Burns) of Salem. VA;  three grandchildren;  sister: Anne Roux, of South Side, MN;  brothers:  Charles (Fran) Roux of Buffalo, MN and John (Bev) Roux of West Fargo, ND. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Services will be held at a later date.
