Elizabeth Sours

Elizabeth T. Sours, 53, West Fargo, ND passed away December 6, 2025 in her home under the care of Ethos Hospice, her precious cat, Ava, and family by her side at passing. 

Elizabeth was born March 20,1972 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota as a preemie weighing 1.15 ounces, always being a fighter. She attended elementary school in Eden Prairie, MN and Lisbon, ND and continued junior high and high school at  Sheyenne and New Rockford, ND. Elizabeth graduated from New Rockford High School in 1990. After high school, she worked as a certified nursing assistant at The Lutheran Home of Good Shepherd in New Rockford before moving to Fargo. After moving to Fargo, Elizabeth worked at Bethany and Villa Maria Homes. She attended Moorhead Technical College earning an Associate Degree in Legal Assistant. She then joined Solberg, Stewart, Miller & Johnson Law Firm where she worked from 1995 to 2010. Elizabeth also worked for a short time at Fredrickson & Bryon Law Office. She joined Nodak Insurance Group in 2014 where she worked until September 2025.

Elizabeth loved watching The Golden Girls, her favorite was Blanche, but she loved them all. She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and her fondest memory was visiting Lambeau Field. She enjoyed listening to music, writing poetry, and traveling.

Elizabeth is survived by Michael Enockson (Tasha Joern, partner), brother, Fargo, ND; Zachary Enockson, nephew, Grand Forks, ND; aunts and uncles, numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Darlene A. Sours, her father, Herbert Enockson, and maternal grandparents, David and Theresa Sours and paternal grandparents, Gustav and  Clara Enockson.

We would like to thank Ethos Hospice for the great care they provided to Elizabeth!

In honor of Elizabeth’s request there will be no service or Celebration of Life.
