Dustin Momerak

   Dustin Momerak, 29, of Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, March 10, 2023, in his home.

   Dustin Glen Momerak was born on March 29, 1993, in Park River, ND, to Michael Momerak and Rebecca Johnston.  He grew up in Park River and graduated from High School in Grafton, ND, then attending UND in Grand Forks for a short time.

   He became father to Stella Faye and Sterling Michael.  They moved to Greeley, CO, and Denver, CO.  Later, they returned to the Red River Valley.

   He had worked for area companies, including Northern Plains Steel and The Pallet Co.

   Dustin’s pride and joy were his kids.  He also enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, and scuba diving.

   Dustin is survived by his children, Stella Faye and Sterling Michael; his dad Mike (Kristi) Momerak; his mom, Rebecca Swenson; the mother of his children, RachelAnn (Justin) Peterson; half-brothers, Jessie Johnston, and Roger Swenson, Jr.; step-siblings, Brittany Westerman, and Dustin Westerman; aunt Betty (Steve) Sondrol; and uncle Marvin Momerak.

   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Sally Momerak, Harold Johnston, and Jackie Fitzsimonds; step-father, Douglas Swenson; and uncles Donny Momerak, and Tom Momerak.

   Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
