Donna Lindemann

Donna started her journey to the New Heaven and Earth on October 24, 2024, at Bethany on University Skilled Nursing Facility, Fargo, ND.

Donna Rae Hill was born April 19, 1938, at Enderlin, ND to Clifford and Hilma (Dvergsten) Hill.

Donna grew up in Enderlin, ND and graduated from High School in 1956. Donna then spent one year working in the Enderlin School Office.

Donna married the love of her life Dennis E. Lindemann on September 1st, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Enderlin.

Donna and Dennis moved to Waterloo, Iowa in February 1958 where Dennis had joined the John Deere Company. All 4 of their children were born in Waterloo where Donna became a stay-at-home Mom.

Donna was an avid seamstress with one of her early projects being her own Wedding Dress. She was active with the Church Quilting Groups in Gwinner, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Perham, MN. She had many projects for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made over 80 Teddy Bear’s from heirloom bedspreads and gave many to her offspring and friends.

Donna became interested in machine embroidery and spent many hours with her machine embroidering projects for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Donna and Dennis moved to Gwinner, ND in 1965 and to Bismarck, ND in 1973 while Dennis was employed by Melroe Bobcat. In 1977 they moved to Wahpeton, ND where Dennis had joined Wil-Rich Inc.

Donna and Dennis bought lake property on Big McDonald Lake near Dent MN in 1980. There they enjoyed many summer weekends with their children and grandchildren and in 1996 made it their year-round home.

Donna and Dennis began wintering in Mesa, Arizona and continued for 14 years until 2015. During the summer of 2015 Dennis and Donna sold their lake property and moved to Fargo, ND.

Donna is survived by her children Scott D. (Christie) Lindemann, Coon Rapids MN, Neil V. (Margie) Lindemann, Fargo ND, Kerry R. (Pam) Lindemann, Scottsdale AZ, and Mary K. (George) Wellner, Whitefish MT. Grand children Charles (Meghan) Lindemann, Champlin MN, Alex (Kristi) Lindemann, Shorewood MN, Tara (Zachary) Nesmoe-Thompson, Montgomery MN, Tessa Lindemann, Princeton MN, Ashley (Tyler) Holmes, Phoenix AZ, Jordan Lindemann, Chicago IL, Jon Lindemann, Scottsdale AZ, Casey (Laura) Orgon, Bemidji MN, and Caitlin Orgon, Bemidji MN. Step Grandchildren Kelly (Peter) Schuna, Stillwater MN, Mike Wellner, Aberdeen, SD. Great grandchildren Logan Lindemann, Parker Lindemann, Maya Lindemann, Maretta Lindemann, Emery Lindemann, Russell Lindemann, Jackson Nesmoe, Jace Nesmoe, Mackenzie Holmes, Jackson Holmes, Abigail Orgon and Isabelle Orgon. Great step grandchildren Gavin Schuna, Reese Schuna, and Isaac Schuna. Sisters Arlene Geske, Enderlin ND and Jean Turner, Concho AZ.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Lindemann, and her parents Clifford and Hilma Hill.

Memorial Service for both Dennis and Donna to be held at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND at date and time.

Visitation: Friday, November 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Memorial Service: Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Burial: Family to do on their own at a later time at Pontiac Cemetery, Enderlin, ND.
