Donald Kvant

   Donald "Donnie" Kvant passed away at home on December 24, 2021.

   Donald Kvant was born September 2, 1936. He grew up in Fargo with his parents, Margaret and Clarence Kvant and his younger sister Phyllis. He graduated from Fargo Senior High School in 1954.

   Donnie spent most of his life farming and loved spending time with numerous dogs and cats of his own along with countless strays that found their way to him and his kindness. After retiring from farming he enjoyed buying/selling country music and traveling to various outdoor markets.

   Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Clarence Kvant (Fargo) and his beloved sister, Phyllis (Kvant) Lura, West Fargo.

   He is survived by Phyllis’ sons Gary (Jill Lamp) Lura, Reiles Acres; Gregg (Kari) Lura, Reiles Acres; and his brother-in-law Duane Lura (Reiles Acres).

   He was a one-of-a-kind character and will be missed.

   Service: There will be a memorial gathering at The Garden Pavilion Restaurant in North Fargo on Saturday, May 21st from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a light lunch served. Donnie will be laid to rest at the Arthur Cemetery, Arthur, N.D., following the gathering.
