Dianne Nirschl

   Dianne Nirschl, 65, of West Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND.

   Dianne Marie Weixel was born February 26, 1960, in Bismarck, ND, to Walter and Mary (Nordstrom) Weixel. She grew up in Bismarck and West Fargo, graduating from West Fargo High School, after which she attended MN State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, MN.

   Following college, she began a 37-year career at St. Luke’s/MeritCare/Sanford, during which time she held different positions, the longest of which was in guest services.

   On August 29, 1981, she married Steven Nirschl at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Fargo. They made their home and raised their family in West Fargo.

   Dianne enjoyed volunteering, especially at Meals on Wheels, being a Campfire Girls Leader, candy striper, watching MN Twins and Vikings games, all types of music, and horses.

   Dianne is survived by three children, Stefani (Scott) Williams, Tiffani Hase, and Cody (Allison) Nirschl; five grandchildren, Kendra, Kayla, Katelyn, Madison, and Kaden; four great-grandchildren, Erin, Maire, Aitana, and Lana; two siblings, Paul Weixel and Nancy (Rick) Mazzola; and several nieces, nephews, and siblings-in-law.

   She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.

   In honor of Dianne, please do not wear black to the service (P.S. She liked purple and flowers).

   Memorials are preferred to Sanford Hospice House.

   Memorial Service: Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, West Fargo, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

   Interment at a Later Date: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, North Dakota.
