Denise (Houkom) Rheault

    Denise Rheault, 64, of West Fargo, died on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Sanford on Broadway Hospice House.

    Denise Rae Houkom was born and raised in West Fargo to Irvin and Beverly (Olson) Houkom.  She graduated from West Fargo High School in 1975.  On October 11, 1975 she married Dennis Rheault at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo.  She worked at West Fargo State Bank for several years, and as a homemaker as their children grew up. 

   She had an open door for everyone and enjoyed cooking, canning, baking and bringing meals out to the field for her family.  She also enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and golden retrievers.

   Denise is survived by her husband, Dennis, West Fargo; children, Jacob, Surprise, AZ, Whitney (Jessica) Rheault, West Fargo; grandchildren, Kingston and Ziggy Rheault; siblings, Brian (Debra) Houkom, West Fargo, David (JoLynn Mathern) Houkom, rural West Fargo; father, Irvin (Hazel) Houkom, Audubon, MN; nieces and nephews: Austin (Sarah) Houkom, Ashley (Matt) Cook, Anthony (Annie) Houkom, Brady (Molly) Houkom, Seth (Haylee) Houkom, Sheena (Sutton) Lauinger; step-brothers, John (Tammy Lopez) McIntosh, Horace, ND, Lee (Doni Jo Ramberg) McIntosh, West Fargo; and step-sisters, Cindy (Greg) Dandewich, Winnipeg, Canada, Amy Jean McIntosh, Audubon, MN.

   She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Houkom; grandparents Everett and Harriet Olson, and Carl and Goldie Houkom.

Visitation: Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at Faith Journey Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND.

Memorial Service: Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Faith Journey Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND.

Burial: Thursday, December 31, 2020 around 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
