Dean Hansen

   Dean Norman Hansen was born in Grand Forks, ND on March 17,1956 and passed away on January 16, 2023 at the Fargo VA Hospital.

   The oldest son of Vernon and Mary Ann Hansen. Dean was raised in West Fargo, ND and graduated in 1974 from West Fargo High School. Dean entered the Navy in 1975 and was on the USS Pyro and the USS Roanoke where he proudly served for 13 years.

   Dean loved to fish, collect Coke Memorabilia, read, and collect and polish rocks.

   Dean is survived by his mother Mary Ann Hansen, brother Mark (Nancy) Hansen and sister Ann (Bob) Helbling and many nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death by his father Vernon and grandparents Olaf and Lillie Hansen and Charlie and Annie Abrahamson.

   Thank you to the staff at the Fargo VA Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.

   A private family graveside service will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
