David Powell

David William Powell, 75, of Fargo, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at St. Catherine’s in Fargo.

David was born July 26, 1949, in Williston, ND, to Harry and Gladys (Sharpe) Powell. The family moved to Minot where David graduated from Minot High School in 1968. He then served an enlistment with the US Navy. On October 27, 1973, David and Deb Lokken were married in Tioga, ND. 

Surviving are his wife; sons Brice and Trevor; sisters Judy (George) and Karen (Gerry); and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harry Wayne, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Private committal service with Military Rites will be held in the spring at Fargo National Cemetery, rural Harwood, ND.
