Darrell Johnson

   Darrell Joseph Johnson, 84, West Fargo, ND, died Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home.

   He was born on December 18th, 1939, to Ray and Marjorie Johnson in Frazee, MN. He grew up in Horace, ND.

   He was united in marriage to Carol Bangert. From this union, six children were born.

   Darrell joined the Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1961. After discharge, he went to work for Fargo Packing and Sausage (Valley Maid Meats), which later became Quality Meats and Seafood. He retired in 2000.

   In 1981, he married Debbie (Peterson), and they had a son.

   Darrell is survived by his children Kathy Jo (Gordon) Grant, Kim (Fred) Fuss, Karen (Rob) Schulz, Kurt (Kim) and Jared; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; sisters Marlys (Ed) Nelson and Mary Rohrich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Marjorie, brothers George, Roger, Ron, Butch and Gary, sisters Donna and Patty, children Kay and Luke, and granddaughter Christie Fuss.
