Danielle Jones

It is with great sadness that the family of Danielle Jones (Bartness) announce her sudden passing on December 28, 2020 at the age of 38.

Danielle was born in Virginia, Minnesota on March 4, 1982 and grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School in Glyndon, Minnesota with the class of 2001.  Danielle attended MSUM where she made the Dean’s list and earned a bachelor’s degree.  She then went on an adventure and moved to China for 9 months and taught English.  On June 26, 2015 Danielle was united in marriage to Justin Jones in Fargo. She was employed by ATOS at the time of her passing.  In her spare time she enjoyed her new hobby of quilting, reading, anything to do with 1980s boy bands, shopping trips with her mother, being at the lakes, watching her son play hockey and spending time with family and friends.  

Danielle will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 5 years, Justin; her son, Jaxon; parents, Danny & Jana Bartness of Foley; two brothers, Travis Bartness of Hermantown, Minnesota and Nathan (Jodi) Bartness of Saginaw, Minnesota; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dee Ann & Michael Henry and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Twigg.  Danielle also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews; Damon, Hunter, Jenna, Logan Ann-Marie, Blake and Brekken, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don & Geri Bartness, Ken & Esther Cline and Arthur Achterberg and father-in-law, James Jones.

Visitation:  5 to 7 p.m.  Monday, January 4, 2021, at Faith Journey Lutheran Church in West Fargo.

Memorial Service:  2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the church.

Covid 19 guidelines will be followed and masks are required for both services.
