Craig Lindemann, 72, Enderlin, ND passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his home with Hospice of the RRV.
Karl Craig Lindemann was born July 5, 1952 in Fargo, ND to Karl and Marjorie (Nudell) Lindemann. He grew up in the same home his grandparents built being the third generation to live and farm on the same land. His childhood was filled with good memories surrounded by cousins, aunts and uncles. Craig graduated in the Class of 1970 from Enderlin High School and attended NDSCS for a short time. He was baptized, confirmed and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran in Enderlin serving on the church council for several terms. He was also a member of the Enderlin Jaycees.
Craig’s work was farming but he’d always tell you it took second to his family. Craig married Sharon Mork on June 11, 1988 at Petersburg, ND. Their son Grant was born in 1996 which filled Craig with great Dad moments such as serving in “advisory position” for farming when Grant took over operations. Craig loved watching all of Grant’s events especially basketball and baseball for the Enderlin Eagles and summer Legion ball. It counted for family vacations for years. Trips to Hawaii, Florida, Arizona for spring baseball were memories talked about for a long time.
The addition of a daughter-in-law Rylee in 2022 and granddaughter Kendall Jean in 2024 brought much joy to the family.
Craig was a man of few words but always concerned about how others were doing. His dry wit often left people in a lighter mood.
Cancer is a battle you hope you never have to fight but Craig did so with courage and determination, always willing to try the next kind of chemo. His four year battle ended May 13. We know there are angels on earth disguised as doctors and nurses at Roger Maris and all the Hospice workers who took such kind care of Craig – we thank you.
He is left by his wife, Sharon; son Grant (Rylee); granddaughter, Kendall; two sisters Carmen Archbold of Enderlin and Jan Chesley of Stillwater, OK.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jeffrey, niece Kellie Lemna, nephew Nicholas Chesley and brother-in-law Dennis Archbold.
