Courtney Kay Prischmann, 30, of Fargo, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Sanford Hospice on Broadway in Fargo following a long hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer.
Courtney was born November 6, 1995, in Fargo, daughter of Jeff Prischmann and Tammy Heimbuch Prischmann. She was raised in Fargo, attending Washington, Ben Franklin Schools and graduating in 2015 from Oak Grove in Fargo.
Her genuine kindness and love for people was shown in her employment at various businesses throughout her life including Kohls and Friendship. About six years ago, Courtney was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Courtney enjoyed holidays, spending time at the lake, celebrating birthdays and her cats, Shadow and Ace.
Grateful for having shared in her life: father: Jeff (Evelyne) Prischmann of Moorhead, MN; sister: Kaitlyn Prischmann of Fargo, ND; grandparents: Darryl Prischmann of Glyndon, MN; grandmother: Sandra Ash of Mesa, AZ; special uncle and aunt: Russ and Vicki Heimbuch of Moorhead; special cousin Halli Heimbuch; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her mother and grandparents: Tammy Heimbuch Prischmann, and Gust and Clara Heimbuch.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Hope Lutheran Church-North Campus in Fargo.
Visitation: An hour before the service.
Interment: Spring of 2026, in the Bang Lutheran Cemetery, rural Portland, ND.
