Connie Lynn Dewan

Connie Lynn Dewan, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 30, 2025, at her home in Morriston, Florida 

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Dewan, and her beloved pets, who were truly part of her family.

She is survived by her loving partner, Alf Mills; her two daughters, Erin and Jesse; her six grandchildren—Landyn, Kendall, Harley, Harrison, Charlotte, and Tomlin; and her mother, Ethel Dewan, who was not only her mother but also her best friend. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Dewan, and sister, Denise Luther.

Later in life, Connie followed her passion for photography, capturing the beauty of animals and landscapes through her creative lens. She was proud to have sold some of her work and found joy in sharing her perspective of the world. Connie’s deep love for all animals was evident in the care and compassion she showed every creature she encountered. Her warmth, quiet strength, and generosity of heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Connie was the best mom, setting a high standard and inspiring her daughters to want to be just like her. She shared countless inside jokes and cherished memories with her daughters, as well as laughter-filled road trips and meaningful moments with Alf. Her humor, kindness, and gentle spirit made every moment spent with her feel special.

Connie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, creative spirit, and the way she made everyone—two-legged or four-legged—feel seen, valued, and loved. She now rests peacefully, reunited with her beloved pets, over the Rainbow Bridge, where she waits with them in joy and love until she is reunited with those who she cherished. 

Service: Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1 PM with sharing time at 2 PM, at West Funeral Home, Casselton, ND.
