Christine Elaine (Olson) Michalski, 54, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.  Crissie was born on April 18, 1969, at Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia, MN to James and Joan (Gnirke) Olson.  She attended Lester Prairie High School.  Crissie married Alexander Michalski Sr. on March 1, 1996.  They lived in Glencoe, MN until moving to the Michalski homestead in Moose Lake, MN in 2001.

Crissie’s kitchen was constantly in use, turning out baked gods, canned goods and anything you could think of, even liver and onions at her sister’s request.  Many friends and family would reach out requesting her cookies and treats during the holidays.  Crissie was all known for her appreciation towards community members and would bake gifts for service workers.  Crissie was also known for her salsa that was made many times throughout the year.  She won 2nd place for her salsa at the Carlton County Fair.
